Why Horolune

A Workshop Where Patience is the Process

Single-technician Accountability

One trained hand works your piece from intake to handback. No handoff chains, no confusion about who touched what.

Written Condition Reports

Every service that enters the workshop receives a written summary of findings. You know exactly what was done and what, if anything, requires a future look.

Pressure-Tested Seals

Water-resistance work is pressure-tested with calibrated equipment after each gasket renewal — not assumed from a visual check alone.

Timing Machine Records

Mechanical movements are regulated and logged on a timing machine. The data travels with your piece so you have a reference point for future services.

Heritage Piece Experience

Vintage and collector watches receive different handling from daily-wear pieces. We work to original specifications and avoid unnecessary surface intervention.

Central Bangkok Location

Our Sukhumvit Road workshop is straightforward to reach by BTS and taxi. Drop-off and collection during opening hours — no appointments needed for consultations.

Common Questions

Before You Bring Your Watch In

How long does a movement service take?

A standard movement service — disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and regulation — usually takes seven to ten working days. Pieces with worn parts that need sourcing may take a few days longer, and we'll let you know as soon as we assess the movement.

Do you work on all watch brands?

We work on a wide range of Swiss, Japanese, and European mechanical movements, as well as most quartz pieces for battery and strap work. Very new watches still under manufacturer's warranty may be better served by an authorised service centre — we're happy to advise when you bring yours in.

What does the written condition report include?

The report covers the movement's overall condition before and after service, timing machine results (amplitude, beat error, daily rate on multiple positions), a note on any worn or marginal components, and recommendations for future attention. It's your record of the work carried out.

Can you source parts for older or vintage movements?

For many common ébauches we hold small stocks or have reliable supplier relationships. Rarer or highly specific parts may require a search and additional lead time. We discuss parts requirements openly before proceeding, so there are no surprises on the final invoice.

How should I drop off and collect my watch?

Walk-ins are welcome during workshop hours. We'll complete an intake form with you, note any existing cosmetic marks, and give you an estimate before any work begins. Collection is by arrangement once the piece is ready — we'll contact you when it's done.

What is included in a Full Restoration?

The full restoration scope covers a complete movement service, case and bracelet refinishing to original polish and brushed finishes, dial and hand cleaning or careful refreshing where appropriate, new seals and a pressure test, and final regulation. For collector pieces we can also prepare a documentation record of the work performed.
